I Wasn't Always This Person.
Before I built my body, I had to build myself.
Where I Started
I started as the skinny, insecure and extremely shy kid who struggled to believe in himself.
Growing up, my childhood was far from stable. Family problems meant that from around the age of 12, I grew up without my mother being present in my everyday life.
I didn't have the kind of support at home that many children take for granted β someone preparing my meals, washing my clothes, guiding me or simply being there when I needed support. My siblings were not part of my everyday life either.
That instability affected me deeply. I became emotionally closed off, insecure and unsure of who I was. I was bullied, I lacked confidence and I felt like I had very little character or identity of my own.
For a long time, I felt like I was simply existing rather than becoming someone I was proud to be.

The Decision To Change
Eventually, I understood something important: no one was coming to build my life for me. If I wanted to become stronger, more confident and more capable, I had to start building myself. So I did.
Training became much more than building muscle. It became the place where I learned discipline, responsibility, consistency, patience and self-respect.
There were periods when the only time I could train was before school. I would wake up at 5:00 in the morning, go to the gym, train and then continue with my school day. Nobody forced me to do it. I had a goal, and I knew that reaching it was my responsibility.
The Transformation
I made a lot of mistakes. I trained incorrectly. I tried things that didn't work. I had to learn about training, recovery, nutrition and my own body through experience.
But every mistake taught me something. Instead of quitting, I kept learning and adjusting.
My physique began changing quickly. The transformation became so noticeable that people around me started commenting on it, and some even assumed that I was using steroids because they couldn't believe how much I had changed in such a short period of time.
But there was no shortcut behind it. It was consistency, learning, sacrifice, discipline, hard work and a constant desire to become better. I went all in because I felt like I had nothing to lose and everything to build.

I Built More Than A Body
The biggest transformation wasn't physical. I built confidence. I built discipline. I learned how to take responsibility for myself. I developed a stronger character.
I became more comfortable speaking, expressing myself and standing behind who I am. The gym gave me a place to start, but the lessons reached far beyond training.
I learned that when you repeatedly prove to yourself that you can do difficult things, the way you see yourself begins to change. And when you start respecting yourself, other people begin to see you differently too.
Where I Am Today
Today, my life looks very different from where I started. I am stronger. I am more confident. I understand myself better. I have built something that the younger version of me desperately needed.
But I haven't forgotten that kid. I haven't forgotten what it felt like to have no confidence. To feel weak. To feel lost. To not know where to begin. That is part of why Salah Coaching exists.
Why I Coach
One of the biggest reasons I created Salah Coaching is because I want to help people who recognise themselves somewhere in my story.
Maybe you grew up without much support. Maybe you lack confidence. Maybe you don't like the person you see in the mirror. Maybe you feel weak. Maybe you know you're capable of more, but you don't know where to begin.
You don't need to have everything figured out. I didn't. But you need to be willing to start, learn and consistently do the work.
My role as a coach isn't just to give you a list of exercises. It is to give you the structure, knowledge, direction and accountability that I wish I had when I started. You still have to do the work β but you don't have to waste years making the same mistakes I made.
Your Starting Point Does Not Have to Be Your Final Destination.
You can build your body. You can build your discipline. You can build your confidence. And most importantly, you can build yourself.
